I went with a rounded header to symbolise the world in the name.
The menu items are at the bottom with descriptions under each icon so the user knows what each click will do. I used orange so the header and menus would stand out and for easier navigation.
The first design you can see is the home page showing the newest lessons available. This shows cards with the meal they would be making, the flag and the teacher, with small intro from the teacher.
The second design you can see is when someone clicks the location menu and searches for a country - this one shows all of the lessons available for dishes from that country. This also shows a breakdown of what the dish is, how long it would take and who is teaching it. As well as a small description of the usual foods you would find in that country.
The third design is when someone clicks on the teacher profile or searches for a particular teacher. They would land on this page and be shown all of the recipes from that person first. They then have the option to tab between the different options to donate, read their story or read the reviews from other who attended their lessons.
