for this design I started off by researching different recipes of pastry dishes so I could get some inspiration. In the end I decided I wanted to illustrate the word visions and i got the idea to illustrate holes that go trough the book and they show 'visions' of what you will find in the book. For the illustrations of dough and the finished pastry dish I took a minimalist and abstract approach as I do with all my designs. I also used the circles from the 'holes' and gave them different colors to represent the creative fuel you will get from this book and all the different flavors you can get. The font for the title gives a contrast to the illustrations in the design, and the font I used for the chefs name goes well with illustrations. For the back I used the same design as the front so that the 'holes' can be used for a short description of Mark Wilson. The inside of the book has a title of the recipe I did with my own handwriting and a picture of a finished dish.
