A select images of presentation for the Veg Box app design brief.
I wanted to keep it Colourful, bold, modern and simple.
I found a pixilated design that made for the vegetable symbols to look modern and pleasing as it has a some what video game pixelated art appeal, that makes the shapes of the vegetables stand out, all just by using basic square shape pattens and circles, this makes said vegetables look recognisable and gives an over all fun look for its prevention while the coulis are still quite eye catching.
In terms of relating it to the Box aesthetics used a basic white board around the illustrated vegetables to keep the vegetables in said box so it could relate to the veg box name, while still offering something fun and playful for the viewer to look at.
The iPhone menu e lay out look simple, using just the basics to show case each stage of the shopping menu, and I added a saving icon, so the consumer can see how much they have saved before check out.
This over all loos minimal and less confusing and cluttered, and still looks to have a great aesthetic that transitions well on both phone and tablet lay out.
The App icon lay out is one I could not decide on, as I chose variations of my personal favourite vegetable icons to use on the app button, carrot, broccoli and sweetcorn. i believe the simplicity and modern appeal of their designs would stand out on the home screen of a phone or tablet.
