During the development stage (designs in b&w) i mainly explored the idea of including an Asian elephant as the main focus of the logo with a play on chilli's within the design. After much play this just did not work leaving the final design to be type based.
I decided my final design would be heavily type based with a small representation of a chopstick, using bright thai coloured food dishes for the colour scheme. I also used thai words for their favourite dishes within the logo to enhance the brand. The moc-ups really bring the logo to life. Completed in 4hrs over two days.
