For this brief, I decided to get out of my comfort zone and design something a little different.
I started off with a greyscale drawing (concept) and experimented with some color options. After some thought, I decided that I still wanted the logo to have an upmarket feel while maintaining some of the original color palettes. I also realized that I did not like the 3rd panel to the right of EAT. PHO. LOVE. and removed it completely.
The end result is a more simplistic version of the logo that still maintains an illustrative style.
