I am a big advocate for self-help and introspection, but we don't necessarily always have a safe empathic platform where we can express ourselves. So, I decided that quotations should be the key appeal - and researched real words from men on forums and even quoted a friend of mine who had shared his feelings with me. Anonymously, of course.
I wish I had saved all the image credits to mention all the amazingly beautiful men whose photos I used, but I cannot find a file where I kept the links and I'll try to manually find them and give them props a little later.
Generally, I've had a lot of concepts and ideas for this project and I hope it'll evolve, but so far I lack the fluency in my usage of prototyping tools to get there. the main point was the integration of 'type' field for the instant connection and ability to get it off your chest without having to contact actual counselour right away or calling a hotline. Filling forms and reaching out can be difficult when you're dealing with issues.
I think I wanted a little too many different things and couldn't quite figure out how to put them together well.
I think I'll make this my 'evolution showcase' design and will have it redesigned every month to see how my skills had grown.
This was my first landing page from scratch - I only started to learn UI\UX design and do not know my way around Figma yet. Some mistakes I see, but don't yet have the knowledge to fix them properly, some are avoiding my attention - I would be glad if someone had commented and helped me fix them.
It took me about 3 hours to put this together.
