A branding and editorial design for the UK walking routes guide, "Hidden Treks".
The brief wanted a crest design with simple line art. I was inspired by many of the beautiful sketches of the British countryside and wanted to incorporate that sketchy quality into the design and branding.
I chose colours that I thought complimented each other and reflected the outdoors in some capacity.
The texture was based on it's similarity to tree bark which I found accentuated the design and was in keeping with the countryside.
I included some of my earlier designs and process to show the route I was trying to take with the brief.
