Focused on simplicity and minimalism for the Group and messenger design. Created in After Effects to show my idea and thought process for the app UI in motion!
Hey Katie, great work! I really like the motion graphics on this. Was going to do this on mine but my computer cannot handle it! I can really believe this concept. Keep it up :)
I love this design and adding the animation to the UI allows the end user to really see your vision and intentions for the application. How easy is After Effects to use for the animation approach?
I use Adobe XD, however, they are not really there yet on the animation side. I hope to hear back from you, and keep up the good work!
Hello Stephen!
I've never used Adobe XD but have been meaning to learn, it looks like a great program for creating prototypes. But if you want animation, then yes I would recommend After Effects! I really like to use After Effects, because you can make all your layers in Illustrator or Photoshop and then place them in After Effects easily. The animation used in here is just basic movements and masks - there's plenty of tutorials out there, I would recommend it to bring your ideas to life with motion!

Great design Katie and a bonus to see it in motion!
