Requested: minimalist, 'less is more', clean and modern, but stands out on the shelf.
Designed: understated honeycomb pattern, in muted tones, so to keep with the minimal theme whilst still adding depth and texture (this element of the design would ideally be textured/spot gloss).
Text: Bringing out the hexagon/honeycomb theme with the O as a gold foil hexagon shape, mimicking the background pattern. This is what will hopefully catch customers eyes when looking on the shelf. Typeface is minimal sans serif 'Tommy Hilfiger' and kept the 'tagline' simple with the elements highlighted in the brief: Organic, Luxury, British in an understated but modern handwritten font. A bit inky, hunky and reminded me a bit of M&S/Waitrose brand styles. If you look closely, the tagline text is underlined in the centre with super slim gold foil.
Label: Not done as perfectly as I wished, but gets the concept out there. A simple label with the spot gloss and gold foil textures, something for customers in the supermarket to feel, and interact with.
Not as minimalist as it could be, but I felt that to make it stand out, interesting, and encourage customers to pick it up, it needed that texture mentioned to be more interactive and touchable.
