For this brief, I wanted to challenge myself by moving away from the more traditional colors and imagery associated with honey. Instead of yellow or black, I opted for a palette of orange, red and greens to help stand out while still conveying that sense of organic freshness.
Instead of bee or honeycomb illustrations, I focused more on a simple geometric approach to the logo: the two 'h's of the Henry's Honey name coming together on top of a stack of rounded rectangles resembling a hive or honey dipper shape. This insignia can work with the logo or by itself as a logo mark.
I'm quite happy with how the logos turned out, but I definitely have room to improve on the label design. Constructive feedback welcome! :) This was my very first brief and overall it was really fun, looking forward to designing more!
