I wanted the design of this to be very clean, simple, and elegant. I kept the colors very neutral, earthy tones with just a pop of color to bring some life into the label. I felt that the "less-is-more" approach that the brand wanted was a very smart idea as it portrays a much more luxurious and quality appearance. In order to achieve the different texture effects, the flowers on the side of the jar have a texture effect that, when printed, would bump out slightly from the packaging so that the consumer will both see and feel. The flowers also convey a natural, environmental sense to the consumer as well as bring some design in to the label. The logo itself is in the shape of honey comb without being too obvious.
