Decided to use Easter Island for this exercise because the landmarks double as characters. Since the brief revolved around landmarks it made sense to use a travel guide/brochure for the mockup.
I struggled with the decision to add detail or strip it away, but in the end I chose the latter to let the identity of the landmark speak for itself.
After Konna's observation I attempted to break up some of the white space of the brochure with the Easter Island coat of arms and a few strokes near the top. I also added an additional poster mockup.
