Branding for the Helsinki-based luxury hotel Aki-To. I've gone for a minimal approach using a gold, dark navy, and white colour scheme to give it a luxury feel.

  1. Hey Gianluca Italiano! Many thanks for uploading your submission to our Helsinki Hotel design brief. Awesome to see your next submission here as a Briefbox Pro user.

Great work! I'm loving the use of the gold and the simple elements. Nice typeface too. This design would look great, used in a minimalistic, modern hotel. You've managed to find a nice balance between modern trends and the look of a boutique establishment.

I think now that you have the initial style and direction nailed down, you could really push this design by having a play and seeing if you could come up with any creative or unconventional results. For instance, you could look to further explore the positioning and scale of your logo and title 'Aki-to'. In other branded materials, potentially the 'A' or full logo could be coming off the page or repeated in a gold pattern. Have a play and the choice is up to you! This design could be repeated across the navy and on the white.

I think you could also consider adding in a playful 'pop' of colour in here and see how the overall design looks. If you get stuck, take a look at our blogpost, written by our Founder Joel , on sourcing and gathering in design inspiration for use in your projects.

Overall Gianluca Italiano, this is awesome work! I'm looking forward to seeing further submissions from you. And remember if you do choose to further develop this design, make sure that you upload it as a separate submission so we can review your work.
