I loved this project. Trying to improve my all round process regarding logo design, so this was great practice. For this I wanted to keep it minimal as to the brief and also to have an identifiable mark, something unique. I decided to focus on the "A" and incorporate a typical hotel door hanger into the "A" shape with a minimal font below to help bring it to life. I chose 2 tones of blue for the colour, relating it loosely to the flag of Finland, which is blue and white.

  1. Hey Adam, great to see your second submission here as a Briefbox Pro user.

This is logo design is looking very smart and well considered. Great that you've gone for a modern, simplistic approach which reflects the Hotel's love for minimal design. Nice, clean, sharp and Finnish here!

In order to progress this design, I would suggest testing out a version where you inverse the colour scheme here, so the white lettering stands out against a navy background. This could help your quirky take on the 'A' logo look even more striking.

I think to push this design forwards it would be good to see the logo mark used across a number of mock-up hotel items, such as business cards, letterheads and compliment slips. This is not only useful to now only show the client that you have carefully considered all aspects to the design but also helps the client to fully visualise your design for their brand.

All in all, this is a great start at the logo design here. Great work Adam. Keep going with it! Looking forward to seeing your revised designs here. If you do choose to develop it, remember to submit it as a separate submission so we can review your smart revised design!
