A lovely little boutique gift store in Brighton called 'Yuli’s' is looking to increase their sales this year with a revamped gift voucher. They currently have a loyal customer base, many of whom are regulars in the shop and spend considerable amount of money on their products, especially over seasonal periods. The business is growing, and they're going to invest some time and money into the design, in the hope of increasing the trust and engagement of their customers.
They would like a designer to create a custom gift voucher design to sell in-store and online. They sell boutique, one-off gifts; they would like the voucher design to represent the handmade-ness of the products they sell in-store and online.
Think custom ligatures, swirls and marks, soft color palettes, and simple, clean layouts. Have fun with the name; perhaps play with some custom lettering for the logo and include the following text on the voucher: 'This voucher entitles the bearer to £25.00 store credit at Yuli’s'. Bear in mind that their main target audience is female, and more specifically young mums.
Here is a selection of images by awesome designers to give you some creative fuel! Remember don't copy this directly, use them as inspiration only.
