Craft ales are becoming much more popular, and there are now plenty of cool labels out there. The target audience is generally young, creative, bohemian, and professional; people who appreciate a well-designed label. This is a great brief to get your creative juices flowing, and to add to your portfolio once complete.
We’ve attached some of our favorite label designs to give you some fuel and a sense of direction, but spend some additional time researching and moodboarding other possible designs and layouts; refine your route. Think up a fictional name for your beer; it can be anything you like, but we would advise choosing a name that would lend itself well to some custom lettering, and that would look good within a crest design.
For content and mock-ups, find some awesome images you can place you designs on; invent some locations, ingredients, established dates (etc.) which you can work into your layout design.
Here is a selection of images by awesome designers to give you some creative fuel! Remember don't copy this directly, use them as inspiration only.
